Community Operations Lead
Context
CIC Berlin is a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, hosting a wide community of startups, investors, and corporate partners. As Community Operations Lead, I worked at the intersection of operations and people development, ensuring the internal team could thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment. The challenge was not only to streamline processes but also to strengthen team alignment and cultivate a culture of trust, motivation, and collaboration.
Approach
I introduced a Team Alignment Workshop designed around embodied leadership practices, where colleagues connected their day-to-day tasks with CIC’s wider vision. Through reflective exercises and guided conversations, the team mapped individual motivations, clarified responsibilities, and reinforced how their work contributed to the collective mission.
To further nourish team culture, I co-designed and facilitated a team-building event, highlighted by an archery experience. This activity combined focus, play, and collective learning, creating space for colleagues to reconnect outside the office and practice trust and resilience in a different context.

Alongside these initiatives, I managed knowledge-sharing systems on Notion, coordinated a monthly community events agenda, and mentored both new hires and experienced staff—ensuring that our operations were not just efficient but also meaningful and human-centered.
Outcome
The workshops and team-building initiatives deepened team cohesion and motivation, while improving clarity of roles and alignment with CIC’s long-term goals. The archery experience became a memorable milestone that colleagues continued to reference as a symbol of focus and unity. These interventions supported higher engagement and smoother collaboration across departments, contributing to CIC’s reputation as a dynamic and resilient workplace.
